How can I book an appointment with Purearth?
We would love to have you! Booking is easiest through our website, but if you prefer, feel free to reach out via email at susie@purearthretreat.com, or send a private message on Facebook or Instagram. We will reply as soon as we can!
What should I expect during my first visit?
We love welcoming first-time guests to our Purearth haven. You can expect a warm welcome and pampering from your host(s), Susie and Nick, as well as our flock of farm animals.
If you're booking our spinal flow service online, you’ll be prompted to fill out an intake form. Please be sure you complete the form prior to your appointment.
For facial consultations, we'll have a chat when you arrive at Purearth.
Please let us know if you are scared of chickens and we will make sure to keep them contained. Otherwise, you can expect to be greeted by the flock.
I can put our dogs in a separate space when hosting guests if you are afraid. They are friendly, but they can express their enthusiasm with jumping and they will bark when you come to the farm. Please allow me to have time to call them away if you show up early.
There is a waiting area right inside the door.
We are on a farm, so older shoes/rubber boats are recommended if it’s muddy and if they want to meet the animal.
Is Purearth a scent-free environment?
No, our space is not scent-free, although the scents we use in our treatments are naturally derived. I can make your facial scent-free but the scents from previous treatments will be lingering.
What are your cancellation policies?
Life happens, and we strive to be as flexible as possible. If you need to cancel, please give us as much notice as possible. Cancellations up to the day before your appointment will be refunded in full. If you need to cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, please contact us directly. We reserve the right to charge you in full, but if the cancellation is due to weather, sickness, or an emergency we will do our best to accommodate you.
Do you offer gift cards/certificates?
Absolutely! Gift cards are a wonderful way to share the Purearth love. You can purchase them on our website here, and have the option of purchasing a specific dollar amount.
What is the difference between a Purearth massage and an RMT massage?
Our Purearth massage is all about relaxation; it's a special treat for your soul and cannot be claimed under insurance.
Are your products cruelty-free or organic?
Yes. We're committed to your well-being along with the well-being of the planet and all of its inhabitants. All of our products are handcrafted on the farm with care, using natural emollients and organic oils. We even forage for Mother Nature's herbs and grow our own for that extra touch of love.
What should I wear during my spa treatment?
For our spa packages, we want you to feel comfortable and pampered. You'll be partially undressed for your spa treatment and covered with warm sheets. You may want to wear comfortable clothes that are easy to remove/put on, but it’s really up to you!
If you're joining us for spinal flow, we recommend loose, comfy clothes – no hoodies, tight pants, or jeans, just cozy attire.
How early should I arrive for my appointment?
Arriving a few mins early ensures a smooth check-in and preparation process. If you arrive really early this does sound the dogs to bark and it can interfere with the service that is in session at that time.
If you're running late, don't stress, but be aware it might cut into your treatment time.
What is your pricing structure?
We've simplified things for you. Our pricing details are available on the website, and tipping is entirely optional. Providing a blissful experience is our priority..
Do you offer group bookings or spa parties?
While our current spa services are designed for one-on-one treatment, we're looking into group bookings for spinal flow in the future. If you have a group interested in experiencing spinal flow, we’d love to chat about how we can serve you!
What is your COVID-19 safety protocol?
Your safety is paramount. We take extra care in maintaining a clean environment, washing bedding between clients, disinfecting surfaces, and providing face masks upon request.
